About DEN Dezign

Hello, I am Devan Nixon, founder of DEN Dezign.

My work is where art, texture, and storytelling come together. Inspired by nature, mid-century abstracts, and vintage finds I create surface patterns that bring depth and warmth to interiors, textiles, and beyond. Each design starts with a spark—whether from a sketchbook, a color palette, or a moment in nature—evolving into something timeless and expressive. DEN Dezign is more than patterns; it’s about creating art that feels personal, intentional, and beautifully lived-in.

Much like Helena Bonham Carter’s words, I see art in everything—the way we move through life, the details we cherish, the stories we tell. Art isn’t just something I do; it’s something that simply is. Creating with my hands is both freeing and essential, a natural extension of how I experience the world. Surface pattern design allows me to bring this perspective to life, transforming inspiration into something tangible. I am currently training with Bonnie Christine through Immersion course to deepen my craft and refine my vision, embracing the art of storytelling through pattern.
